Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to patients, delivering assessments and therapeutic interventions
• Manage airway support and assist with ventilator settings under established protocols
• Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and airway clearance techniques
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and execute patient-focused care plans
• Monitor patient responses, document care accurately, and escalate clinical changes promptly
• Participate in orientation and training activities to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Washington state or eligibility to obtain licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS/NRP highly desirable where applicable
• Comfortable working in an inpatient setting and collaborating with care teams
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to documentation
• Ability to participate in orientation and follow facility policies and protocols

Education

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program; higher degree a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in airway management and oxygen therapy
• Experience or familiarity with ventilator management and respiratory equipment
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to work efficiently during short, focused shift windows
• Solid clinical documentation and communication with interdisciplinary teams
