Shift Type: Flexible shifts including days and nights, must be willing to work assigned schedule, no block scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to high-acuity patients including spinal neuro trauma and surgical cases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for seamless handoffs from ED and admitting
Manage patient ratios of 5:1 with support from techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries
Handle complex cases like gunshots, quads, and paraplegics with confidence and compassion

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in surgery trauma or high-acuity floor
BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
EPIC proficiency required
Willingness to work assigned shifts with no RTO or block scheduling

Education

RN license required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in high-acuity trauma and surgical nursing
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Strong BLS and ACLS skills for emergency response
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, supportive team environment
