Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect resident care using the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate and document
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Interpret diagnostic tests and integrate findings into the plan of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, efficient resident care
Educate residents and significant others about care plans and treatments
Contribute to performance improvement efforts to enhance resident outcomes and quality of care

Qualifications

Current California RN license required
Current CPR certification required
At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) care preferred
Ability to perform nursing assessment, care planning, medication administration and documentation

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing process and patient assessment
Care planning, implementation and evaluation
Medication administration and safe documentation
Interpreting diagnostic tests and integrating results into resident care
Cultural competency and resident education
Strong collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork skills

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $7,500
Pay scale with 30 increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
Competitive compensation based on experience (see bill rate)
