Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12s): 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM primary day/afternoon coverage; Every 3rd weekend 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM (overnight) with potential holiday coverage. Rotating day/afternoon/night schedule, minimal on-call (approximately once every 15 weeks).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate Siemens CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Follow imaging protocols and optimize CT parameters for patient safety
• Use Epic EMR to document exams, communicate results, and maintain patient records
• Position patients and provide clear instructions to ensure comfort and accurate imaging
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to deliver timely imaging services
• Cover scheduled shifts reliably, including every third weekend and occasional holidays

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in CT (ARRT (CT)) required
• State of Ohio Radiology License required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proven experience working with Siemens CT systems
• Familiarity with Epic EMR required for documentation and workflow
• Reliable, patient-focused approach with strong communication skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or CT program
• ARRT (CT) certification and current State of Ohio radiology licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient operation of Siemens CT scanners and related peripherals
• Solid understanding of CT protocols, image reconstruction, and radiation dose management
• Experience using Epic EMR for exam scheduling, documentation, and results routing
• Strong patient positioning and communication skills
• Knowledge of BLS practices and emergency response procedures
• Ability to work independently during assigned shifts and collaborate with the care team
