Shift Type: Per Diem, various shifts available including weekdays and weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgery
Assist surgeons during operative procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia recovery
Maintain a sterile surgical environment
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington state
BLS and PALS certification required
Previous OR experience preferred, especially in pediatrics
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of surgical equipment and sterile technique
Pediatric patient assessment skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
