Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, patient-family centered perioperative care in the operating room
• Maintain strict sterile technique and uphold surgical nursing standards on every case
• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and reassess patients per policy
• Assess and manage patient pain using appropriate techniques and interventions
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans and act as a patient advocate
• Collaborate with RN, LPN, NA, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate seamless care
• Prioritize and organize multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail
• Provide age-specific care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program (required)
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license (required)
• BSN preferred
• Perioperative/Operating Room experience or strong perioperative knowledge
• Proven ability to use sterile technique and perform patient assessments
• Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills

Education

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program (required)
• BSN preferred

• Perioperative nursing and surgical nursing practices
• Sterile technique and infection control
• Comprehensive patient assessment and reassessment
• Pain management strategies and appropriate interventions
• Age-specific care: pediatric through geriatric

• Ability to prioritize, organize workload, and manage multiple assignments
