Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday and Sunday call every 6-7 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional pre and post-operative care in a fast-paced OR setting
Assist with a variety of surgical cases including General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, CSTs, and sterile processing techs to ensure smooth case flow
Monitor patients in PACU and Phase 2 recovery areas with attention to detail
Float to sister facilities when needed to support the broader care team
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Surginet EMR systems

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS certification required
Experience in General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN cases preferred
Familiarity with Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Ability to take call and work flexible weekend rotations

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of OR procedures and sterile technique
Comfortable with bariatric, pediatric, and endo cases
Ability to handle 2-18 minute endo turnarounds efficiently
Experience with Phillips telemetry monitoring
Understanding of ICU-level patient backgrounds helpful
