Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care with the multidisciplinary team
Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families
Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Contribute to a healthy workplace by managing conflict with professional communication
Meet Core Measure responsibilities and maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications

Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records (Point Click)
Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
