Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three 12-hour shifts per week, with on-call as required. Specific shift times vary.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients to determine their physical, mental, and spiritual needs, creating personalized care plans.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and families, ensuring understanding.
Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly.
Contribute to a healthy workplace by managing conflict with professional communication.
Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
Participate in continuing education to stay current in nursing practices.

Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room or similar setting.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and care planning skills.
Excellent clinical judgment and ability to recognize changes in patient condition.
Effective communication and conflict management skills.
Patient education and documentation proficiency.
Knowledge of operating room procedures and sterile techniques.
