Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, self-schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medications
Monitor hemodynamic status and titrate drips as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Float to med/surg and PCU units as assigned
Ensure hourly rounding and patient satisfaction

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent PCU and oncology experience (first-time travelers welcome!)
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
ACLS and BLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy Certification required
Charge nurse experience preferred (1 year minimum)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with Alaris IV pumps, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring
Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology protocols
Strong teamwork and communication skills
