Shift Type: Varied shifts - day, night, and weekend availability required

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and operate advanced medical equipment
Collaborate with neonatologists and a multidisciplinary team to create care plans
Support and educate families during their infant's hospital stay
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a safe, sterile environment

Qualifications

Current RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
BLS and NRP certifications required
At least 1 year of recent NICU experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neonatal assessment and care
Proficiency with ventilators, monitors, and IV therapy
Excellent communication and family support skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
