Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele and specialty units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, ortho, trauma, and ED observation patients
Titrate Heparin drips and manage a variety of post-surgical and medical diagnoses
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining excellent clinical standards
Support the float pool mission by filling gaps and ensuring continuity of care across the region

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various acuity levels including ICU holds and PCU/Stepdown

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across multiple specialties
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and managing Heparin drips
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating assignments
Ability to work collaboratively with charge nurses and support staff
Experience with adult and geriatric populations and diverse diagnoses
