Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele and specialty units
Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, ortho, and post-surgical needs
Titrate Heparin drips and respond to changing patient acuity levels
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
Float within Zone 1 facilities to support staffing needs and maintain continuity of care
Document assessments and interventions accurately while supporting a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various units and schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Comfort with floating between MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Ability to titrate Heparin drips and manage varying acuity levels
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced float pool environment
Flexibility to work weekends (6-9 shifts per 6-week schedule) and occasional holidays
