Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, bedside nursing care to patients during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow effective care plans
• Document care clearly and timely in the patient record
• Support patient and family education, ensuring understanding and comfort

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in medical-surgical / telemetry or related inpatient areas preferred
• BLS required; ACLS and other specialty certifications preferred where applicable
• Comfort working night shift and independently during per diem assignments
• Strong clinical assessment skills and effective communication

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) accepted; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking for overnight patient care
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to triage and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Teamwork and clear communication with physicians, nursing staff, and support services
