Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and compassion
Provide direct patient care including vital signs, ADLs, and basic comfort measures
Support safe mobility and transfers, following proper body mechanics and protocols
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Valid state nursing assistant registration/license for California
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Vital signs monitoring and reporting
Infection control practices and PPE use
Basic charting and documentation
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical team
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
