Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
Assist with basic activities of daily living while preserving dignity and independence
Document care and observations clearly in patient charts and report concerns promptly
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to follow care plans and improve outcomes

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and standing for extended periods
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and personal protective equipment use
Comfortable with patient handling and safe body mechanics
Good teamwork, time management, and clear documentation skills
