Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Perform patient transfers and safe mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Support nurses with treatments and bedside procedures as directed
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team and families

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (California certification preferred)
• Available and willing to work the overnight 12-hour per-diem shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; compassionate patient-focused attitude
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and hygiene practices delivered with dignity and respect
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Ability to take and record accurate vital signs
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and team members
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs during a busy shift
