Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Report changes in patient condition to the nursing team and document observations
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Recent experience working in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) reliably
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Must be able to perform patient transfers and use safe body mechanics

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and hand hygiene practices
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
Basic electronic or paper charting and reporting
