Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care for patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Support safe patient transfers and maintain a safe environment
- Document care and communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Demonstrate respectful, patient-centered interactions that preserve dignity
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- Comfortable working a 12-hour day shift on assigned dates
- Ability to follow facility policies and care plans precisely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete required onboarding, background check, and any facility screening
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved CNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental patient care skills and understanding of infection control basics
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Competence with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Good observational skills to notice and report patient changes
- Team-oriented mindset and clear communication with clinical staff
