Shift Type: Tuesday-Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and assess trends to keep patients safe
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate when needed
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary team members
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
Provide clear patient and family education to support recovery and discharge

Qualifications

Active RN license (California) or eligible to obtain state licensure
Telemetry nursing experience and comfort interpreting cardiac rhythms
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
ACLS certification preferred when caring for higher-acuity cardiac patients
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
BSN preferred but all qualified RNs are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac monitoring and telemetry strip interpretation
Skilled with medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic health records and timely documentation
Solid critical thinking and prioritization in acute care settings
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
