Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 18:00 - 07:00, rotating days including every other weekend and holidays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical/telemetry patients, including those with CHF, diabetes, PNA, and CKD
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, recognizing and responding to cardiac rhythm changes
- Administer medications and titrate drips as needed under established protocols
- Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators for optimal patient outcomes
- Float to all medical/surgical units as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Experience in medical/surgical or telemetry nursing preferred
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to read telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of CHF, diabetes, PNA, and CKD management
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Time management and prioritization
- Effective communication and teamwork
