Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Telemetry
Location: Prescott, Arizona
Start Date: 07-13-2026
End Date: 10-12-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays as per schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for arrhythmias and changes
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to MedSurg and Telemetry patients, including post-surgical, orthopedic, CVA, TIA, and respiratory cases
- Administer medications and manage set-rate drips like Diltiazem
- Collaborate with charge nurse, interdisciplinary team, and monitor techs
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Cerner EMR
- Float to East Campus or PCU as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with telemetry strip interpretation
- Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience preferred
- Cerner experience strongly recommended
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Post-surgical and orthopedic patient care
- CVA and TIA management
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
