Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients following established protocols
Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and document changes accurately
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate when needed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the facility EMR

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Med/Surg experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with Med/Surg protocols and standards of care
Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients safely
