Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three 12-hour shifts weekly, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients
Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility protocols

Qualifications

Active California RN license in good standing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 3 years of med-surg nursing experience
Negative TB test within the last 12 months
Ability to work night shifts and holidays as required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medical-surgical nursing knowledge
Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in EHR and documentation systems
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to fast-paced, ever-changing environments
