Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality medical/surgical nursing care for patients across urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT and vascular service lines
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop/implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care
• Monitor patients closely, recognize changes in condition, and escalate appropriately
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge plans
• Maintain required certifications and ensure license verification via Nursys is current

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be verifiable via Nursys)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC is required — please note EPIC experience in your profile
• Complete work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Provide skills checklist, references, and certification card as part of your profile
• Upload full demographic information and a badge-appropriate photo

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medical/surgical nursing skills and patient-centered care
• Experience caring for patients in urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT and vascular services
• EPIC documentation and order management proficiency
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities
• Clear communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
• Familiarity with credentialing requirements and Nursys verification processes
