Registered Nurse - Med-Surg/Telemetry
Location: Silverdale, Washington
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and titrate drips including Heparin and Cardizem
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and CNAs to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
- Float to other units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Qualifications
- Active WA or Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
- Comfortable reading telemetry strips and managing limited titratable drips
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with common medical-surgical diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and post-op care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced telemetry environment
- Flexibility to float and adapt to changing patient assignments
