Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse mix of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with the care team to support patients recovering from hip and knee replacements, hysterectomies, and bowel resections
Support patients managing COPD, pneumonia, infections, and withdrawal symptoms with empathy and skill
Float to the Multi Care Unit and Pediatric unit when needed, expanding your clinical versatility
Precept nursing students and help shape the next generation of caregivers

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience, telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
MedSurg and progressive care nursing expertise
Precepting and mentoring nursing students
Caring for patients on stable CPAP or BiPAP
Adapting quickly when floating to different units
