Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for antepartum, triage, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients
Manage common drips including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics using Alaris IV pumps
Collaborate with charge nurse and team to ensure safe, patient-centered care in a 4-bed unit
Apply critical thinking skills in a fast-paced LDRP setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Maintain high standards of patient safety, including adherence to artificial nail policy

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
At least 1 year of recent LDRP experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Ability to pass an open-book exam with 90% during orientation
Valid driver's license and ability to comply with 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in LDRP nursing - antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
Proficiency with Alaris IV pumps and common OB drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Team collaboration and floating capability in MedSurg (helpful)
Commitment to patient safety and infection control
