Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend, holiday availability as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies, including titration of medications like magnesium and oxytocin
Care for mother-baby couplets, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
Assist in cesarean sections, circulating for the baby
Utilize EFM system (OB Trace Vue) to monitor fetal heart rate
Provide neonatal resuscitation and support with CPAP, BiPap, and high flow equipment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a rural hospital setting

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to titrate drips and manage high-risk OB patients
Comfortable working in a rural hospital with limited resources

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
Proficient in OB Trace Vue electronic fetal monitoring
Skills in neonatal resuscitation and equipment (CPAP, BiPap, high flow)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Understanding of infection control and fit testing requirements
