End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin to support safe deliveries
Support mom-baby couplets with expert postpartum care and education
Circulate during C-sections to ensure the safest outcomes for newborns
Collaborate with a tight-knit rural healthcare team where your clinical judgment truly matters
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when needed to lend a helping hand

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
EFM certification preferred
Ability to pass N95 fit testing (note: facial hair restrictions apply)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of labor progression and fetal monitoring
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited NICU access
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with OB Trace Vue EFM system
Skilled at troubleshooting neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
