Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift, days and exact start/end times to be confirmed (shift type: day/night/rotating to be determined)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that makes a measurable difference
Assess, monitor, and document patient status and changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and improve outcomes
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred depending on unit needs
Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation skills
Strong prioritization and time management in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and teamwork with clinical colleagues
