Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights), every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently manage labor and delivery patients, including high-risk cases
Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring
Circulate and recover C-section patients
Titrate drips such as Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips effectively

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience preferred
Experience with high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, and C-section recovery

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EFM and fetal monitoring
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
