Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical X-ray and mammography procedures, using independent judgment and ingenuity to facilitate accurate diagnoses
• Provide compassionate patient care while following departmental and hospital policies and procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications, ensuring smooth workflow
• Maintain infection control and body substance isolation practices in compliance with OSHA standards
• Protect patient confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards
• Attend mandatory education and maintain department competencies in radiology and mammography

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of X-ray experience and 2 years of current mammography experience
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Massachusetts Radiology License or pending application required
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for commuting
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in X-ray and mammography imaging techniques
• Proficiency with PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Knowledge of infection control and confidentiality protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred
