Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate mobile radiography and EKG services at post-acute and long-term care facilities, delivering essential diagnostic imaging at the patient bedside
• Perform and process portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) X-Rays, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images
• Transmit imaging and EKG studies promptly to radiologists and cardiologists for timely interpretation
• Safely load/unload and maintain portable X-ray equipment and company vehicle to ensure reliable service delivery
• Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with protocol
• Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, management, facility staff, and patients to coordinate efficient care
• Maintain accurate records and follow infection control and safety procedures, including COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption documentation

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification (required)
• Current California State Radiologic Technologist License (required) — limited licenses not accepted
• Valid driver’s license in good standing in the applicable state
• Comfortable performing EKGs as needed and transmitting studies for interpretation
• Ability to safely push/pull and handle equipment (regularly up to 50–100 lbs with mechanical aids)
• COVID-19 vaccination required or documentation for exemption
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in community settings

Education

• ARRT Certification and required State Radiologic Technologist License (California)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with portable X-Ray systems (DR and/or CR)
• Familiarity with image transmission workflows and radiology PACS/connectivity
• Basic EKG performance and transmission skills (as applicable)
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance awareness for reliable mobile service
• Excellent patient handling and bedside manners in post-acute care settings
• Comfortable with daily documentation, scanning, and electronic submission processes
