Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic exams with attention to patient safety and image quality
• Prepare patients and explain procedures in a calm, professional manner
• Operate imaging equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the medical record
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and infection control standards
• Participate in orientation and training to integrate quickly with the Shriners team

Qualifications

• Active state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility) — MO license preferred
• ARRT (or equivalent) certification in radiography preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification recommended
• Prior clinical experience as a Rad Tech is preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome
• Professional, patient-focused attitude and good communication skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and orientation

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with standard radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS
• Strong patient-handling and positioning skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and exposure minimization
• Good documentation and basic computer literacy for electronic medical records
