Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare procedure rooms and patients for life-saving cardiovascular and EP interventions
Assist physicians during diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, ablations, TAVR, and neuro procedures
Monitor pre and post-procedure patients with expert cardiovascular assessments
Administer procedural sedation following strict safety protocols
Document procedures in real-time using MacLab/CardioLab systems
Circulate independently in high-stakes Cath Lab and EP Lab environments
Champion patient safety with Full Stop and Time Out processes
Precept new staff and pursue ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
ICU, CVICU, IMC or Cath Lab experience required - no new grads or Med/Surg only
X-ray fluoroscopy proficiency and intra-cardiac ultrasound skills a plus

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from accredited program
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within 36 months of hire if not already obtained

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiovascular nursing expertise
Electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implants
Procedural sedation administration
3D mapping systems operation
Hemodynamics and structural heart procedures
