Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient gynecologic oncology care, managing 15–22 patients per clinic day with thoughtful, patient-centered visits
• Perform inpatient consults as requested and collaborate with hospitalists for efficient patient care transitions
• Utilize the da Vinci XI robotic system for minimally invasive surgical procedures when appropriate
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board discussions and coordinate care with radiation oncology, pathology, and pelvic physical therapy
• Offer and manage clinical trial opportunities and research initiatives to expand patient treatment options
• Coordinate closely with nurse navigators, APPs, infusion center staff, and supportive services like nutrition and counseling
• Document clinical encounters and care plans accurately in EPIC to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Contribute to a positive learning environment by mentoring APPs and optionally teaching medical students

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of OB/GYN residency and fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology (graduates completing fellowship in 2024 are welcome to apply)
• Board certified or board eligible in Gynecologic Oncology (or on track for certification)
• Active Colorado medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Colorado
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (preferred)
• Robotic surgery experience (da Vinci XI experience a plus)
• Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team and coordinating care with APPs, navigators, and specialists
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Note: This is a permanent position and we are unable to sponsor visas

Education

• MD or DO
• Gynecologic Oncology fellowship completion (or final-year fellows graduating in 2024)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in gynecologic oncology clinical management and surgical techniques
• Familiarity with EPIC for documentation, order entry and clinical workflows
• Experience with clinical trials and research processes
• Ability to collaborate across specialties (radiation oncology, pathology, nutrition, rehab)
• Skilled in patient counseling, care coordination, and utilization of supportive services
• Comfort leading and participating in tumor board case reviews
