Bill Rate: $55.51-$79.14/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients thoroughly and develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and independence
Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries clearly and timely in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and ensure safe transitions
Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and educate patients and families to support ongoing recovery
Contribute to a culture of safety, compliance with state and federal PT regulations, and continuous professional improvement

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapy License in good standing
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
1+ year experience in acute care, swing bed/skilled nursing, or outpatient settings
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
Proficiency with EMR systems and comfortable using computers for clinical documentation

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and care planning across diverse diagnoses
Clinical documentation best practices and EMR proficiency
Effective clinical reasoning and problem-solving in fast-paced settings
Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance

Benefits

Full-time sign-on bonus: $10,000
Part-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
13-step clinical pay scale with progression up to 30 years of service
