Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings
Assess and treat a diverse patient population including orthopedic, neurological, wound care, and general rehabilitation needs
Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence
Collaborate with nursing staff and therapy team members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Precept students or new team members as needed to support department growth
Document patient progress and adjust care plans to maximize recovery

Qualifications

Current Texas Physical Therapist license required
National Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Wound care experience preferred but not required
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and treatment planning abilities
Comfort working with a mix of SNF, acute inpatient, rehab, skilled, and outpatient diagnoses
Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 7 treatment hours per day
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams
Flexibility to cover both IP and OP areas as needed
