Location: Sitka, Alaska
Start Date: 05-21-2026
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Bill Rate: $27.81 - $38.62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Supports pharmacists with technical tasks
- Provides confidential and frontline support to customers
- Retrieves medications, counts, and labels containers
- Cleans and refills pharmacy equipment
- Orders and replaces stock in the pharmacy
- Retrieves and interprets medication orders
- Maintains equipment and performs recordkeeping
- Conducts inventory and stocks drugs and supplies
Qualifications
- Alaska license as Pharmacy Technician
- Valid Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification within one year of hire
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Healthcare or related experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Pharmacy operations
- Patient communication
- Inventory management
- Sterile compounding skills
- Hazardous drug handling
- Basic math skills
