Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist orthodontists during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms, maintaining a clean and safe environment
Take and pour impressions, as well as fabricate and adjust orthodontic appliances
Educate patients on oral hygiene and care instructions for braces and retainers
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed
Work collaboratively with a fun and dedicated dental team to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) in Maryland
Experience in orthodontics is a big plus!
Current CPR/BLS certification
Radiology (X-ray) certification preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
Proficient with dental software and basic computer skills
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
