Location: Minot, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 5x8s - Shifts vary between 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM; call required: one weekday per week and parts of 1-2 weekends in a 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert perioperative nursing care for general surgery patients
Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety throughout surgery
Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment
Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR
Participate in on-call rotations to support emergency surgeries

Qualifications

Must hold an active RN license (compact or willing to obtain ND license)
Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
Travel experience strongly preferred
Must be able to work all specialties except Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery
No locals within 50 miles of Minot, ND - permanent address must be outside radius

Knowledge & Skills

Operating Room nursing expertise
General surgery knowledge
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and on-call duties
