Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and interventions
Assess functional needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries in the medical record
Educate patients and families on strategies to improve independence and safety
Participate in orientation sessions and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Qualifications

Valid California Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain one)
Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program (MS/OTD or equivalent)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records and maintaining compliance

Education

Master’s (MS/OT) or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in functional assessments and activity-based interventions
Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and adaptive equipment
Experience with goal-oriented treatment planning and outcome measurement
Proficiency in clinical documentation and time management
Compassionate, patient-focused approach and family education skills
