Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on orthopedic therapy focusing on shoulders, elbows, and wrists
- Help patients recover from tendonitis, fractures, and post-surgical repairs
- Provide compassionate care across outpatient ortho, acute inpatient, and rehab settings
- Collaborate with rehab aides and the care team to create personalized treatment plans
- Document patient progress using ReDoc and Meditech systems
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapy license required
- BLS certification
- Strong background in outpatient orthopedic therapy, especially upper extremity cases
- Experience treating shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
- Lymphedema training is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Outpatient orthopedic therapy techniques
- Upper extremity rehabilitation
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
- Working with diverse diagnoses including CVA, MS, and head injuries
