Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive function
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies for continued improvement

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or similar setting preferred
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient assessment and treatment planning
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
