Location: Garden City, Kansas

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with elective cases Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 24/7 on-call for weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with confidence
Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers your nursing team
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cases
Enhance nursing competency through mentorship and hands-on guidance
Coordinate pre-procedure preparation and recovery for optimal patient outcomes
Float as a helping hand to support other departments when needed
Monitor and manage vasoactive drips and critical care medications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional cardiac and critical care

Qualifications

Active RN license with ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency
Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in clinical leadership
1 year of management experience preferred
Fluoro license is a plus for technical staff
Critical care and telemetry experience strongly valued
Comfortable titrating vasoactive drips and managing complex cardiac patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership presence with a passion for team development
Expertise in cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
Skilled in managing ICU patients with complex needs like sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure
Proficient in reading telemetry strips and monitoring during procedures
Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen support
Ability to foster collaboration across departments
