Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients within scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the chart
• Monitor patient status, observe changes, and report concerns to RN/physician
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transitions of care smoothly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Educate patients and families in a clear, respectful way about care plans

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and basic nursing procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to unit staffing needs
• Prior clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong training are welcome

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
• Active LPN licensure in Georgia required

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Infection control and patient safety principles
• Charting/EHR familiarity and accurate record-keeping
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered bedside manner
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting
