Location: Claremont, New Hampshire

Start Date: 06-16-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Every other weekend required, No call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Observe residents continuously and alert supervisors to changes in mental and physical well-being
Accurately receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders
Administer medications and treatments while maintaining precise documentation
Supervise LNAs and assign resident care consistent with abilities and scope of practice
Perform wound care including wound vac management and gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings
Accompany physicians on rounds to address residents' medical needs
Admit, discharge, and transfer residents with complete documentation
Communicate with families to resolve concerns and obtain necessary consents
Manage assigned unit during shift under Nursing Supervisor direction
Assist with orientation and continuing education of new nursing staff

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire nursing license required at time of submission
3+ years current experience within the last 6 months
IV certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
COVID vaccination required - declinations not accepted
Previous travel experience highly preferred
Rural or small facility experience highly preferred
Must have reliable transportation for rural location

Knowledge & Skills

IV certification and medication administration
Wound care and wound vac management
Gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings
Oxygen administration
LNA supervision and staff leadership
Electronic documentation and MAR/TAR systems
Infection control practices
