Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission using interview techniques to gather medical history, current status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and diagnostics
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans under the direction of a physician
• Administer medications safely and accurately, monitoring patient responses
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, maintaining confidentiality
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN License (or eligibility to obtain) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current CPI certification required
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Emergency Room nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing

Education

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Experience with Point Click EMR preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
