Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 20

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound, echo, and vascular exams that help physicians deliver accurate diagnoses
Build trust with patients by explaining procedures clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout each scan
Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to capture the precise images needed for life-changing decisions
Maintain equipment and follow strict infection-control protocols so every patient receives safe, reliable care
Document exams thoroughly in PACS and keep detailed logs that support seamless continuity of care
Respond promptly when on-call, bringing calm expertise to urgent situations any hour of the day

Qualifications

Current ARDMS registry (RVT) and BLS certification
Registry-eligible sonographers with at least six months of ultrasound experience are welcome
Comfortable caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics, protocols, and image optimization techniques

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled at producing clear, diagnostic-quality images across echo and vascular studies
Proficient with PACS for image storage, retrieval, and transmission
Able to recognize critical findings and communicate them effectively to the interpreting physician
Detail-oriented with excellent patient-assessment and positioning skills
